Chris Yang

Originally from Taiwan, I've called the United States home for 40 years now, spending 27 years in Colorado and 13 years in Northern California. I earned my B.S. from Taiwan National University of Marine Science and my MBA in Accounting from Golden Gate University. My career began in high-tech business as a manager before transitioning to financial services. This is where I discovered my passion for helping people make sense of financial matters while building genuine friendships along the way.

As a Registered Representative with Independent Financial Group LLC, I specialize in private equity and credit strategies. What I love most about this work is serving people and watching them grow. I hold Series 6, 63, and 26 registrations, and I bring decades of experience helping clients navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence.

I currently live in the beautiful Castle Rock, Colorado, where unlimited outdoor activities keep life interesting. I enjoy mountain biking, skiing, hiking, fishing, camping, and road biking. I'm also passionate about photography, reading, physiology, and music, particularly classical, jazz, and blues. Beyond my professional life, I'm a Master Free Mason and actively support Compassion International and charitable causes focused on nature conservation.
